Massive Whitetail Deer Harvested in Iowa

Bill, host of LL Bean, and his cameraman were in Iowa for a hunting party when Bill seized upon the opportunity to take the shot of a lifetime. The two were posted in the perfect location for a small coordinated deer drive. Just as Bill's cameraman was filming two gigantic bucks, a monster whitetail deer appeared in the camera lens.

With little time, Bill steadied and squeezed off a perfect shot just in time to harvest the moving deer. As usual, Bill says, his Knight rifle was deadly accurate. The 180-class buck was a true monster.

"It was my largest whitetail to date," Bill said. "This was the buck of a lifetime!" Bill's hunting partners agreed. The group said it was awesome to be there for the smiles, handshakes, and celebration of such a prize buck.
