7th Annual Southwest Idaho Regional Still Target Shoot

Larry with his world record target

Larry's World-Record Target

In March of 2007, Larry set a new official World Record in the National Wild Turkey Foundation's Black Powder Muzzleloader Shotgun Division. At the 7th Annual Southwest Idaho Regional Still Target Shoot in Emmett, Ohio, he got an official score of 26 pellets after nailing the 3-inch circular target from 40 yards.

Larry's victory shot was taken with a Knight Rifles TK 2000 muzzleloader. His scope was a Nikon Monarch Turkeyplex. "All my scopes are Nikon scopes," Larry said. Loaded with Hevi-13 shotshells, his rifle held American Pioneer Powder and a CCI 209 primer.

Larry is a member of the Gem State Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Foundation. This is his first world record. "I will defend the record," he said.
